Rogers' Chocolates has held a special place in my heart since I was a young boy visiting Victoria starting in the mid-eighties.  For the last thirty years, when visiting Victoria, I would treat myself to my favourite chocolate, the Maraschino Cherry Victoria Cream.  It was always a highlight of my visits.  Now as an Artist living in Victoria's Chinatown, I still treat myself to my favourite confection.  It was an honour to be asked to paint the Rogers' Chocolates original storefront on Government Street, an iconic beauty in Victoria's downtown core.  I only hope that I was able to capture the child-like whimsy that the store holds for both the young and the old.
